Ronna Burger

Ronna Burger is the Catherine & Henry J. Gaisman Chair in Philosophy and Sizeler Professor of Jewish Studies at Tulane. Her scholarly work in the field of Greek philosophy has provided a basis for her current studies on Maimonides and the Hebrew Bible.  Recent publications include Aristotle's Dialogue with Socrates: On the Nicomachean Ethics, “Maimonides on Knowledge of Good and Evil: The Guide of the Perplexed I.2,” and “Woman and Nature: The Female Drama in the Book of Genesis.” Burger was a participant in a workshop on the Haggadah supported by the Tikvah Fund at Princeton University.
