Rabbi Mendel Ceitlin is the director of education at the Chabad Jewish Center in Metairie, where he lives with his wife, Chaya Mushka,and four children. Mendel was born and raised in Toronto;  studied in yeshivot in Toronto, Israel, and New York; and completed his rabbinical studies at Central Tomchei Tmimim in New York. He is especially passionate about giving people the tools to explore and get comfortable with their own Judaism by learning directly from the sources.
