The stories we grow up hearing about our family members, the challenges they faced, and the ways they found resolution powerfully affect our personal identity. They shape our values and beliefs and become the themes that create the composition of our lives. In this workshop we will explore the manner in which family stories shape identity. We will discuss ways to highlight the strengths that we inherit from our family legacies and, of equal importance, the process by which we can edit the limitations those narratives might impose on us as well.
